Equipment for new Coaches
As a new Coach you will be provided with the following:
- Coaches Sweater and Jersey
- 10 x Footballs
- Cone stack
- First Aid Kit *
- £100 slush fund
*First Aid kits will include a small number of ice packs. Coaches are expected to inform the Club Secretary when supplies are low. NC United do bulk buy ice packs and distribute amongst the coaching staff during the course of the season. It is the Coaches responsibility to ensure that First Aid kits are accessible during training and match days.
NC United does hold a lot of training / match day equipment at the pavilion so if coaches require additional equipment then please contact one of the committee members. Bibs can be purchased and reclaimed through team slush funds. Any equipment that is self-funded remains the sole responsibility of the Coach. NC United FC will not be held liable for loss, damage or replacement.
A slush fund is available for each team. It is credited with £100 in the first season and then refreshed every two years i e. Under 7 and then Under 9.
Refresh of the slush fund is at the club’s discretion, should there be any concerns or this won’t be made available a member of the committee will contact you. The slush fund can be used for anything you see fit to assist with the running of the team.
Examples include:
- Additional equipment
- Additional end of season trophies
- Tournament entrance fees
You can raise your own funds to add to the slush fund, such as a sponsored walk. Any additional funds raised will need to be transferred to the Club Treasurer who can then adjust the balance accordingly. Access to these funds is on request via the Club Treasurer. Preferred approach is the pay for the goods and then submit a claim with a valid receipt to the Club Treasurer who can then reimburse.
