Player Registration
Registration for new players normally takes part during July / August. NC United will publish online registration form links to allow coaches to then forward onto their respective team messaging application / chat groups. The registration forms will include parental consent and details of payment options for players subscription fees for the forthcoming season. Once the registration forms are complete the Club Secretary will process each application. Note: for applications to be processed, all new player registrations need to be accompanied with a passport style photo and Proof of Identification (Passport / Birth Certificate)
Parents / Carers are expected to pay an initial registration fee (amount subject to league entered) followed by installments. Player subscription fees should be fully paid by the end of January in the subsequent year.
Players are automatically deregistered from their parent clubs at the end of June.
Registration for new players closes on 31st March so coaches are permitted to register a new player during the course of a season (subject to league rules) up to the close date.
Summer Training
Most of the NC United teams use the Broadoaks Playing Fields, Donnington during the Summer months in close season / pre-season. Coaches will be informed of timeslots and days to train by the Club Chairman. Existing Coaches will already have an allocated time slot so where possible, the Club will try and preserve it.
For Coaches who do not use Broadoaks Playing Fields or have a preference to train elsewhere then its the responsibility of the Coach to inform the Club Secretary of times and location for insurance purposes.
Tournaments
During closed season most Coaches will look to enter into local tournaments for their respective age groups. A few points to note when looking to enter an organised event.
- You must only enter a tournament affiliated by the local Football Authority.
- You must inform the Club Secretary that you plan to enter the tournament and provide details.
- Each tournament will have its own entrance criteria.
- There is no Club policy for tournament entrance fees however, payment can either be covered by team slush funds or payment up front by the Coach and claimed back on the day from players.
Friendlies
It is the responsibility of the Lead Coach to inform the Club Secretary of any friendlies that are planned. This applies during both closed season and throughout the current season.
