Player Registration
Player registration for the new season typically takes place during July and August.
NC United FC will issue online registration form links which coaches should share with their team’s messaging groups.
These forms will include parental consent, payment options for player subscriptions, and capture all required player details. Once submitted, the Club Secretary will process each application.
Note: All new player registrations must include a passport-style photograph and proof of identification (Passport or Birth Certificate) before they can be processed.
Parents and carers are expected to pay an initial registration fee (amount varies by league), followed by installments throughout the season. Player subscription fees should be fully paid by the end of January in the following year.
Please remember that all players are automatically deregistered from their parent clubs on 30th June.
New player registrations are permitted until 31st March, subject to league rules.
Summer Training
Most NC United teams use Broadoaks Playing Fields, Donnington for pre-season and summer training.
Training days and times will be confirmed by the Club Chairman, and wherever possible, existing time slots will be retained for returning coaches.
Coaches who train at alternative venues must notify the Club Secretary of their training location and schedule to ensure the club’s insurance remains valid.
Tournaments
During the off-season, many teams choose to participate in local tournaments. Before entering an event, please take note of the following:
- Only enter tournaments affiliated with the local Football Authority.
- Inform the Club Secretary of your intention to enter, providing event details.
- Each tournament will have its own entry criteria and rules.
- Entry fees are not covered by club policy, payment may be made from team funds or paid up front by the coach and reclaimed from players on the day.
Friendlies
Coaches planning any friendly fixtures, whether pre-season or during the season, must inform the Club Secretary in advance.
This ensures all matches are properly sanctioned and covered under club insurance.
