We’re incredibly proud to share some fantastic news, after a 6-week trial, Leo, from our NC United U13 MJPL squad, has been offered a place at West Bromwich Albion Academy! 👏🔥
Leo joined NC two seasons ago and has gone from strength to strength, showing incredible commitment, teamwork, and a brilliant attitude both on and off the pitch. His progress is a credit to his hard work and the guidance of his coaches and teammates. 🙌
In Leo’s own words:
> “I moved to Telford two years ago and the boys in this team were my first friends here. All the support, guidance and wisdom the coaches have given me I’ve used in my games and the training methods have helped me increase my stamina and skills and help me get to where I am now. It’s been a great two seasons and it was amazing to finish joint 5th last season. I’ve really enjoyed my time playing for NC United.”
From his parents:
> “We’ve really enjoyed being a part of the NC family. The coaches work so hard and have been an integral part of Leo’s development. The discipline required to play at a higher level in the MJPL has really set him up well for the next part of his journey. It’s been a fantastic team to be a part of and we will miss being amongst the sidelines every week.”
Leo signed off his NC journey in style, with a 4–2 win! 💪💙
